Hi,

There is one more suggestion. Before you purchase the computer from Globus
Computer, please visit Windows Server Catalog
(http://www.microsoft.com/windows/catalog/server/), and choose Hardware tab
to see if these hardware are compatible with Windows 2003 server.

Have a nice day!

Thanks & Regards,

| Hi,
|
| I guessed this may not relate directly to this NG; however, please bear
with
| me. Currently, my Win2k3 Corp Ed server is running on a rather old AMD
| K6-2/400MHz computer and I believe it is the time to upgrade the
computer. I
| am thinking of going into the 64-bit world and my choice of CPU is AMD
| 64-bit (unless you can convince me other wise). I live in one of the
| sub-urbun city in the N.E of Atlanta, GA, and there is a computer store
| local to my place called Globus Computer. Unless U can convince me
| otherwise, I would believe this Globus Computer store does have a great
| price for the mobo I intend to purchase to replace the old computer for my
| Win2k3 Corp Ed server. My current mobo choice can be seen on the Globus
| Computer website and its link is shown here:

|
| Having said that, can you think of anything that I should not get this
mobo
| and recommend a better one? My main concerns are price, performance of the
| mobo and its future expansion.
|
| Thank you.
