Windows 2000 Server logging out immediatly after logging in?

Hey Folks,

I am logging in as administrator to the machine. it starts
to "load user account settings",then switches to "saving
user settings" and reverts back to the login screen? I
have tried safemode same thing?

I reminds me of the old @login.logout.

Any Ideas virus or a flipped bit? I am repairing it as a
favor to our community center
