In order to get the sasser / or varient virus yr sys either wasnt updated,
you had no Firewall or current AV app installed.
If you removed it - you dont say how / or what instruction you followed -
and then connected to the internet to update you may well have been
reinfected immediately.
The link in the response was to the MS site giving details of how to clean
and update yr sys.
ZoneAlarm have a free firewall for home usage

If you are unable to download have a friend download and burn to cd, you can
also do the same with winupdates / SP's
