Are you sure this is crashing the machine?
This warning in the logs happens when you connect to a local resource using
a UNC. For example, at server1 you access \\server1\share instead of
D:\share.
I've also seen this with a DC that lost it's computer account. That logged
a lot of these upon boot; presumably hitting itself when looking for
\\domainname.com\sysvol, etc.
