This "service" is not a part of Windows.
Services store there configuration info in the registry in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services
- There will be a path to the service .exe
- You should get a better idea of what this VNL1394 by poking around here

What I think is likely is that this is some kind of spyware. I would search
the hard disk for files with VNL1394 in the filename, and for files
containing the text "VNL1394".

- And of course, scan with Adaware, Spybot, or your favourite removal tool
