2000 / 98 compatability crisis!

I had a few game programs for Windows 98 OS and and one of
these was my very
favorite but I can't make it work (as many other programs
can) in my 2000
OS. Can anyone tell me a way to accomplish this? I don't
think the
software is even available in 2000!
