Hi
From the header of on of the postings from robot smiff:
X-Newsreader: Microsoft CDO for Windows 2000
That means robot doesn't use a news reader/server to access the
newsgroups, he is using the not so good Web Interface that
Microsoft provides to the newsgroups.
Here is the URL to the microsoft.public.win2000.general group:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/community/newsgroups/dgbrowser/en-us/default.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.win2000.general
When this interface sometimes have a problem, you get
"Message unavailable" messages.
