These new updates have caused no end of trouble. First, when updating
the complete set of 5 yesterday KB835732 hung before it was finished.
I left it overnight, but it did not finish. I then rebooted, removed all the
updates and loaded them one at a time. That took the whole morning.

Now - when I try to run a MS-DOS program that I use alot I get the
following message:
   C:\Parmela1>parmela c:\parmela1\par_in.txt
   Abnormal program termination: Stack fault
   CS:EIP = 000Fh:00001373h

By uninstalling KB837001 & KB835732 I got it to run again. When
I reinstalled KB835732 it failed again. I cannot currently get KB837001
to reinstall, I will try again.

Do I sound frustrated?

Can anyone suggest something to do to get my win2k pro system to
work with all the security measures enabled?

Thanks...
