Infra Red

I seem to be having a problem with my infra Red (built-in)
device on my laptop. I have installed the drivers etc but
it comes up in my computer as being corrupt with an ! icon
on it.

Can someone let me know how I can install the drivers
successfully and more to the point where I can get these
drivers from.
