I have a trust between a 2000 domain and an NT 4.0 domain.
The PDC emulator for the 2000 domain is across a WAN
link. I have all servers registered with an NT 4.0 WINS
server. The trust continually fails and must be re-done.

I have made the following adjustments:

I have change the WINS to a Windows 2000 WINS server and
also added an LMHOSTS file on both the Windows 2000 and NT
servers listing the 0x1b and 0x1c records for the
respective PDC/PDC Emulator of the distant domain.

I haven't heard from the remote location if the trust is
continuing to fail. Hopefully the 2000 WINS and the
LMHOSTS files are doing the trick.

Has anyone else had this issue?
