Explorer locks up on US Gov Patent site if "IMAGES"is selected

going to this site http://www.uspto.gov/patft/index.html
and entering a patent number or doing a search, once the
Abstract is shown and I hit the IMAGES button the screen
changes and Explorer Locks up and Does not display the
images. Normally the 1st page of the patent would come up
and be displayed. Works at my office using XP.
