Here is a further update with specifics as I met with the customer this
afternoon:

Windows 2000 Native Mode AD with a single domain "company.com"
Central Hub Site with two existing sites: "London" and "New Hampshire"
3 Exchange 2000 Servers in a single Org

They just acquired another company who is located in San Francisco, CA.
Here is how that company looks:

NT 4.0 Domain
Exchange 5.5 Server Org
200 users
They have a DFS root

Their immediate needs (within the next 9 days) is to be able to have users
in both the AD domain and the NT 4.0 domain to be able to see each user in
the GAL. Long term, they want to migrate the users in the NT domain to the
AD domain. The DFS infrastructure they presently have in place (the NT 4.0
Domain) must be transitioned to the AD (which has no DFS running at all)?

Also, their AD internal namespace is the same as the public name
(company.com) and they would like to change that for security reasons. They
want to know if that can be accomplished by upgrading their AD to Windows
2003 and using domain rename? It's a single domain (no root domain,
however, they wish they did that too)

I have to head out to San Francisco next week to accomplish phase 1 (which
is the GAL). I need to write an SOW over the weekend to outline exactly
what has to take place for phase 1 and the second phase which is the
migration.

Any help on what I should input (step by step)? They're willing to deploy a
new server out there

Thanks
