AFAIK the order of computers you install the SP on does not matter as long
as all are updated in a reasonable time frame.
I would suggest testing the SP out on a test server first. If you don't have
test server, make sure you have complete, current, and useable backups of
all servers you are installing the service pack on.
I would start out with one of your lesser used member servers, install
saving the files needed to uninstall the SP, test, then proceed to the most
used server. You can remove these files later if you need space.
You say you have 1 DC I would be tempted to promote another DC in case
something went wrong with your DC during the SP install you will still
maintain your domain. I would then SP this DC first, test, then SP the
original.
I personally have not had any problems installing SP 4 on DCs member servers
or workstations, but there are those that have had problems.

native domain. There is 1 Win2K DC, an Exchange 2000 Server running on
Win2K and other member WIN2K servers. All currently run SP2. Should I
install SP4 onto the DC first, then upgrade the Exchange and other servers
or does the upgrade order matter?
