I have a Win2k Native Mode AD Domain and one thing that
really bothers me is when I go to browse network
neighborhood the computer descriptions are all incorrect
unless I maintain them in Server Manager. Our network is
a former NT4 domain and I came from a NT4 domain and I
really like server manager and the ease of use of the NT4
tools. Can the description thing be fixed in a Win2k
domain to behave like a NT4 domain? I think it is just a
leftover NetBios thing that I have no control over. Am I
wrong? Is there a way to "clean the slate" and have the
AD descriptions take over?
