Any ideas what would cause the Browser service to hang
when workstations are initially powered on and on reboots;

Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for a transaction
response from the Browser service.

The Computer Browser service failed to start due to the
following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control
request in a timely fashion.

Regards

Nick
