Effect of installation dotNet 2.0 on Windows 2000 server SP4 (with IIS, SQL2000 server) & latest patches

Hi everyone,
I am looking into installing dotNet 2.0 on our Windows 2000 server with SP4
having IIS 5.0, SQL2000 server running.
There are a few web sites running on the server with some ASP application.
My question is:
- What is the major change when we install dotNet 2.0 on Windows 2000 server
having SQL2000, IIS5.0 on it?
- What is the effect might happen to our web site application asp if having
dotNet 2.0 installation on the server?
