Gentleman and Ladies,
I have an interesting problem that seams to elude me. Normally I configure
my desktop and Windows Explorer to view with web content. This normally lets
me view image thumbnail image of a jpg file in the right pane between the
divider and the list of folders or files, without going to the view option
and setting thumbnail view. For some reason gifs, jpgs wont display BUT
pspimages will display. This file name is native to Corel Paint Shop Pro ver
11 plus earlier versions. This had never happened before. In Windows
Explorer view option there is a "Customize this folder", I went through this
wizard to a point with four view options, the Standard view sample is
exactly was the folders used to look like, also the Image view is similar
but the image thumbnail window is much bigger. In my case now neither will
the standard or image view option will display gifs or jpgs. The image
viewing never worked with tiffs, wmfs, or bmps. before I had this problem
which did not bother me.
Any ideas? I recently installed Corel Paint Shop Pro ver 11 but I had this
problem before then. automatic Windows 2000 continues to update as security
updates occur, not sure how long that will continue.
