This question is probably age old - but hard to search for in google
groups.

A windows 2003 server hosts a folder called "Home" that is shared as
Home and gives 5 people Full control at the file level for access. If
user "John" is granted full controll at both the share and file level -
is he able to modify / add users to the file level permissions.

What I see in my tests right now is that all folders are greyed out
even though John has full control.
If I add John to Domain Admins - no problem he can change the
permissions on the server files from any station he logs onto.

thanks for any help.

Mik
