Share Name

We are running Windows 2003 Standard Edition server. We setup a sharename
"IT$". The server was named ITWEB1. Then, we renamed the server to ITWEB2
and reassigned the new IP address. When we access the share through the UNC
path, the pop-up window displayed as IT$ on ITWEB1 (ITWEB2). Somehow, the
old server name (ITWEB1) still displayed. We still can access the share.
But, what bothered us was the old server name ITWEB1 still showed up. Is
there a way to make it so that the old server name will not show up? Thank
