File permission help!

Hello everyone,

I'm doing a file conversion from Novell to Microsoft and I'm having a
hard time figuring out NTFS. Essentially I have a Shared network resource
and underneath are different sub folders for various departments. Could
someone please tell me in detail (step-by-step if you can) how to set up the
parent folder and the sub folders?
