I am having a similar problem, and I already tried converting. When I do
it says it's already NTFS. Mine is 160GB WD, and when I check the drive
properties, it says file system is RAW, and the capacity is 0 bytes.
This WAS my backup drive, and I just reloaded my system and can't lose
any of the info from the drive (about 40GB worth!!!). Also checked the
BIOS, and it's reading the drive correctly, and in disk manager it is
reading my drive correctly and says it is active, but the file system
is reading blank. XP Home on C:
