I have a dual-boot laptop with Win98 on C: (for one legacy app I still need
to use), and Win2K Pro on D:. The Offline Files Cache (Client Side Cache) is
in D:\WINNT\CSC.
But now my D: drive is almost full, so I started to use cachemov.exe (from
the Resource Pro Kit), but received the following error message: 'Could not
determine old cache location. Contact tech support.' Thinking it might be
related to the fact that the %systemroot% drive is D:, I pulled out an old
machine with Win98 on C:, installed Win2K on D:, tried cachemov again and,
voila, same error message again.
I find it strange that the programmer(s) of cachemov.exe did not envisage
that people might have Win2K installed on some other drive than C:..
Is there some workaround for this bug? Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
Thank you,
Mark Madel
