I have a Domain Server for which DNS configuration was done
automaticaly while configuraing the server. In this server I created
all users account in active directory and users . I can say this as
application server.
Now I installed one more server say a database server and configured
this server as child to the above server and opted to configure the
DNS later. Now I am struck, please let me know how to configure the
DNS manually.
Most of the time the clients are unable to get connected to the
server and logon denied. Also error as time difference exists between
the client and the server.
Please suggest , matter urgent.
Thanks

Hi hmtmbx,
Meinolf suggested how to fix this. However I am curious: Was there a
specific reason this database server was promoted to a DC in a new child
domain? Did you application or database require it to be in a separate
domain?
