Hello hmtmbx,
First check the running DNS server, that the zone is Active directory integrated. Then install DNS (if not done) via Add/remove programs, add/remove windows components, Networking services, Domain name system and press ok. If DNS is installed check that the preferred NIC is set only to the running DNS server. If it is AD integrated, it should start automatically with replication. You have nothing to do, just wait.
Best regards

I have a Domain Server for which DNS configuration was done
automaticaly while configuraing the server. In this server I created
all users account in active directory and users . I can say this as
application server.
Now I installed one more server say a database server and configured
this server as child to the above server and opted to configure the
DNS later. Now I am struck, please let me know how to configure the
DNS manually.
Most of the time the clients are unable to get connected to the server
and logon denied. Also error as time difference exists between the
client and the server.
Please suggest , matter urgent. Thanks Mailto : hmtmbx@xxxxxxxxx
