HelloThere is a PTR record no-dns.as5587.net showing publicly in a reverse lookup zone. Are you using your own dns server to do the lookups / tracert? Have you tried using the reachdns.net or bsve.net dns servers?
Im using win 2000 dns to run the dns for my domains and email.
Everything works great but when i tracert my mailserver ip
(mail.reach-global.co.uk - 193.243.251.43) it resolves as
no-dns.as5587.net. Why is this? If i ping mail.reach-global.co.uk it
quite happily reaches 193.243.251.43
i have one mx record pointing to mail.reach-global.co.uk and i have the
host (a name record) pointing to 193.243.251.43
Can anyone throw any light on this.
Thanks

Do you have CNAME records for dns and/or mail server?
.
