Hi Kevin,
I am not quite sure that you solve my issue but to be clarify:
I want an email with me@xxxxxxx
And I want people to send email to me using the address me@xxxxxxx
And if possible, I want to send and receive email using "mail.xyz.com"
Let say I got a friend has web and mail hosting with an ISP, he can have 10
email accounts but he use only 3, he is willing to give me 1 account for
free as I cannot have my own mail server.
Let say his hosing mail server at mail.server1.ISP.com
So, come back to the original question, If I have my domain xyz.com and web
hosted at home, can I have my email hosted somewhere else, and of course,
when I said my email, I meant the address will look like some_name@xxxxxxx
Regards,
Hung Nguyen
BTW, I am using windows 2k3 and MS DNS server
