Omar, your best bet is to not multihome a domain controller. There are many
products available, such as Linksys DSL.Cable Routers, Netgears, DLinks,
etc, that are realatively inexpensive that will perform NAT operations.

Multihomed DCs require configuration alterations and registry entries to
perform properly. This is due to the DNS records registered by the domain
controller(s). I can provide the how-to;s, if you like (they are about 2-3
pages long), to make this work.

Also, if your ISP connection is a PPPoE connection (such as ADSL - not
SDSL), that causes some additonal issues, such as the PPPoE connection
dropping, which causes some issues with the DNS service. PPPoE connections
can also contribute to MTU issues which may be one of the problems you are
seeing and would require a reg change on your internal machines.

Let a DC to what it does best, be a DC, and use an inexpensive router to
offer Internet connectivity. There are better routers one can purchase with
additional functions, such as VPN functions, if you need that as well.
