I have been racking my brain for the last couple of days now with this
problem. I recently been in charge of configuring a network and its
servers along with it. Now one of the servers has been getting error
messages such as "Registration of the DNS record '_kpasswd._udp." as
far as i know the tech before me never resolved the issue. Now I
already demoted the AD using dcpromo and then reinstalling it but
still no luck. I really never worked with DNS servers before so I am a
newbie to say the least. I tried a install that
http://www.petri.co.il/install_and_configure_w2k_dns_server.htm showed
me too, but still no luck. Can someone please point in the right
direction?
Thank you
