It just means that the client gave up while the DNS server was chasing down
referrals for the records. The client gave up, the DNS server found the
records and caches them. Then the next time you ask for it, it pulls it out
of cache and gave it to you. If you clear the Cache, then the server has to
go chase the records down again, and the client will give up waiting again.
