It seems clear from the knowledgebase article and
searching technet that this is the only problem like it
and is definitely the EXACT problem we are having, the
DNS server referred to in the Event Log isn't even in our
list of forwarders, which have all been working fine for
    ages. Microsoft state in the article;

"Note In special cases, charges that are ordinarily
incurred for support calls may be canceled if a Microsoft
Support Professional determines that a specific update
will resolve your problem. The usual support costs will
apply to additional support questions and issues that do
not qualify for the specific update in question."

But you have to buy support first and hope they cancel
it? for something that you dont have to pay for? Great...

Being told you dont have to pay for a hot fix doesn't
really help. Being told how and where to GET the hot fix
WITHOUT paying for support WOULD help, anybody have any
idea how to obtain this hotfix?

For clarification, what we need is this...

Date Time Version Size File name
       --------------------------------------------------------
    06-Apr-2004 19:23 5.0.2195.6922 327,440 Dns.exe

Thanks in advance for any information leading to the
capture of this illusive file ;-)
