Hello to everybody
I must set in DNS server in our domain new entry for host in other domain
that could be resolved by netbios name. The server is win 2k advanced
server.
I have the following problem with DNS server
I try enter entry in two ways
1. First add a new forward zone with domain name and add a new host sonyan
with associate ip address
I try to add alias for name for the host but occured following error
"A new record cannot be created A CNAME record cannot be added to this DNS
name. The DNS name contains records that are incompatible with the CNAME
record"

In this case DNS server resolve the name tavros.delta.gr but not to only
tavros.

2.
The second way i try other.
Create new zone named sonyan.domainname. In the zone creates host entry
without name only ip address. I create alias entry with name sonyan.
The result is the same as the first case

I start nslookup
when i typed tavros.delta.gr the server give me answer with correct ip
address.
when i enter tavros occured following error:
cant find sonyan. Non-existent domain.

I will be thankful for some help.
