Multihoming System DNS Problem

Hello,

Here is my problem. I have a couple of Windows 2000
systems that I am adding to an existing network. This
simple network consists of a W2K server and 5
workstations. I have configured the server with an IP and
Subnet. 192.168.1.1 and 255.255.255.0 All workstations use
the same subnet and have different IP's respectively.
Everything on the existing network works fine.
Recently, without my knowledge, my clinet purchased these
2 new W2K machines and a wireless router. The wireless
router is connected to thier Satellite Internet
connection. This Wireless router is not connected to thier
existing network by any means. So now they want me to add
these 2 new system to the existing network. The new
systems have internal NIC's and are connected to the
wireless router via USB NIC's. So, I connected the
Internal NICs to the existing network HUB. Then I went to
add the computer to the domain. It gives me an error,
saying something about cannot find the domain and that
there is some problem with DNS. I went to DOS and pinged
all of the other workstations and the server with no
problem. The Wireless Router is using the default
settings. Since the default settings are usually
192.168.X.X I am thinkning that this is causing the
problem. I have tried to disable the Wireless Network
Connection, but it still does not work. I was told by
someone much wiser than me, that maybe it could be a WINS
issue. Does this sound probable. This guy told me that he
thinks that I should install WINS on the Server and then
point the Interal NIC settings to the WINS Server. I have
not tried this yet, becuase I wanted more advice. Please
help. This is driving me nuts.
