Re: Adding
Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance
My
question is this, can I add the Advanced - Server without as a member
server and not run AD?
Just add the server to the domain as you would any other client. Don't run
dcpromo to make it a DC.

I have a small network. One Windows 2000 Server running AD, File and Print,
Exchange, DNS, DHCP. I want to take the file and print services away from
that server and add a second server with Windows 2000 Advanced Server. My
question is this, can I add the Advanced - Server without as a member
server and not run AD?
Thanks B
