Hi,

I have setup DNS on an DC Windows Advance 2000 Server but it doesnt seem to
be working.

So far, the DC has itself as the DNS server. In the DHCP, I have the server
ip as the main DNS and then 2 external DNS ips afterwards. When I check in
the forward zone i created, I only see 2 entries, Name server and Start of
Authority which has the servers name in the data column.

I cant ping the server dns name, only its netbios name.

Can somebody lead in the right direction?

Thanks.
JN
