Hello,
We have an Advanced Server Cluster with 2 nodes. On one box we have IIS
running with 5 virtual webservers.
Quiet frequently I get these events for the webserver:
**********************************************************
Event Type: Error
Event Source: ClusSvc
Event Category: Services
Event ID: 1069
Date: 23.05.2004
Time: 21:20:48
User: N/A
Computer: CLN01
Description:
Cluster resource 'Intranet Website Rev 1.0' failed.
**********************************************************
In the Cluster Log the errors look like this:
**********************************************************
IIS Server Instance <Intranet Website Rev 1.0>: IsAlive/LooksAlive ERROR
setting information for service W3SVC resource Intranet Website Rev 1.0
**********************************************************
Every time the webserver stops and starts again.
And, if I'm unlucky, the errors happen within the threshold time, the
ressource fails and the cluster switches to node 2.
Any idea? How can I find out what makes the resource fail? cluster.log
and Eventviewer - any other place to look for clues?
Any help is appreciated. THANKS!
Francesco
