I had a few problems with my Win 2K Adv Server that required me to run
chkdsk and clean up a few problems. Once I got the server re-booted, all of
the WEB sites on the server now prompt anonymous browsers for a username and
password. I have checked to make sure anonymous access is allowed and
stopped and restarted the sites. I even turned off anon, stopped and
restarted the site, then re-enabled it and started and stopped the site.
I've even restarted IIS all together, but still, when I go to the URL, I am
prompted for a username and password.
To test, I created a blank web site from scratch, put in the header, and
tried to access it. I was prompted for a username and password.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks
Cliff
