Hello P. Cully,
I have never had problems copying files to the folder with an account belonging to the domain admins group.
Best regards

If I have logon scripts in this folder and I just copy the profile
will it blow out the logon scripts or leave them in place?

Hello P. Cully,
The netlogon share is the folder "scripts" that you can find under
c:\windows\sysvol\sysvol\domain.com\

Hi
I set up the desktop I want to use. I'm logged into a workstation
as
a
local admin. I try to copy the setting to the netlogon share and I
get the
following error: Contents of netlogon share cannot be deleted.
Delete
contents and retry.
1. Any reason why the current settings can't be deleted?
2. I know I should know this, and I've been checking around, but I
can't
locate the dumb share on the server. I see it from the workstation
when I try
to copy it to the server but I can't see it on the server.
3. I've unhidden all files/folder, all paths, all system folders
etc.
When
I search for it nothing comes up.
Sorry for the dumb question but I'm done.
PC
