Hi.
Can this senario be done..
I have a Windows 2000 AD in native mode, about 12 Windows 2000 DC servers,
No exchange servers.
I'm planing to add a new Windows 2003 Domain Controller to the AD.
My plan is to run adprep /forestprep and adprep /domainprep (from the 2003
installtion CD) on the 2000 DC Server that has all the FSMO roles and is
schema master. After that I will run dcpromo to install the new 2003 as a
new DC.
All the other W2000 DC servers will not be updated now, and must remain as
they are. The domain level must not be raised to 2003 and reamin as 2000
Native.
This should work?
Thanks.
