Hi Yaman,

For security reason, I don't think we can install IE6 without modify
this
security policy. As we know, the security policy is stored in registry
key,
so as an alternative, you can modify the registry key:

Change the following registry setting

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Non-Driver Signing\Policy

Change REG_BINARY to 00

The values in this registry correspond to the following:

00 is Silently Install

01 is Warn, but Install

02 is Do Not Install

Hi All,

I need to deploy Internet Explorer 6 with SP1 to my Windows 2000
clients.
I
have Active Directory (Group Policy) or SMS 2.0 to use for
deployment.
Unfortunately the security policy setting on clients is set to "Warn
but
Allow installation" for "unsigned (non-)driver installation behavior"
so
the
same pop-up message appears 12 times even during an unattanded
installation
with "/Q". I don't have a chance to change the security policy (as
described
in KB822207) which is forced from high above in our environment. Does
anyone
have an idea on how I can supress those pop-up messages or an
alternate
way
to deploy Internet Explorer 6.0 with SP1 using Active Directory
(Group
Policy) or SMS 2.0 (software distribution)? I appreciate any kind of
help
or
ideas.

Regards,
Yaman
