Can you duplicate in XP or more realistically in Vista? If not, it is extremely unlikely it will get corrected as mainstream support for Windows 2000 ended last year. I think the only way you could possibly get that in and corrected is if you were willing to pay for all of the work out of your pocket which honestly isn't worth it.

I need to report a bug to microsoft windows 2000 Team;but my only mean is email;I don't even have my CD serial number at hand;so I can't use regular microsoft support channel.so I need somebody to tell them this bug:.
when U install service pack 4 on a fresh windows 2000 gold installation, some utilities are installed along with service pack, such as "gpresult.exe" .
when u slipstream service pack 4 on that CD and install windows from that slipstreamed CD,those utilities are NOT installed.the same thing happens when U create a flat RIS image from that slipstreamed CD;non of the installed clients have "gpresult.exe" .
I know that originally gpresult.exe used to be one of Resource kit utilities;but with SP4,it is shipped with it;and so it is logical that it would be installed regardless of the way you install SP4.but as I said before, slipstreamed sources does NOT install it.maybe there is something like "install file-list" that is old and needs to be updated.
