This did not resolve the problem. I followed all the steps and when I
lested the domains, it only show the one current domain listed from the
ldap directory. I alternately connected to all replicating partner
servers and they all only show the one current domain listed when I
listed the the domains.
The current FSMO happens to be to old testing server that had the test
domain of olddomainad setup on it. I had to change this from the
upgraded old NT PDC due to a 2.5GB system drive.
As I recall, when I ran the dcpromo on this server to eliminate the
olddomainad domain, I selected that this was the last directory server
for the domain.
Any other suggestions?
