Re: Windows cannot determine the user or computer name

Paul,

After running Sonar all day, I see no problems with FRS. I AD is replicating
nicely (verified by replmon), I can see both the Netlogon and sysvol
folders...Some of the documents I've reviewed discuss everything from a
potential trogan to a problem with the join to the domain. All the
appropriate records--SRV, Host & PTR--are in the dns zone, I can ping this
dc from the fsmo holder and have no problems with name resolution--nslookup.
It doesn't appear to keep the server from operating properly....but I wonder
if I should dcpromo > dcpromo to rejoin it to the domain? Any other
suggestions/

Chris
