Mark,
If you are in per seat (or per device) licensing mode, the general
recommendation is to tern the license logging service off and disable it
completely.
There are a number of reasons that a workstation would associate with a
Domain controller in the course of regular use. Let us know if maintenance
of the actual sessions is the problem, or if disabling the License Logging
will resolve this for you.
