Backup Server

Hello everybody,

My questios is the following
I have a server with Windows 2000 server instaled, and because it support
more then 40 workstations, i need a complete backup in case it broks down.
So i mean to create another server that is the backup of the main one.
Can somewone tell or explain how to create an exact syncronized backup server
