Hi all,

I am running Win2k server SP4 and receiving the above error message in
the event log on the server. This is the only error message in the
application event log and it is replicated every 5 minutes or so.

Source. Userenv
Category. None
Event ID 1000.

I am not sure if this error is restricting the system from some of the
security measures. All users are supposed to be restricted to a
specific log on and log off times. The server is controlling the log
on times ok, but once logged on the user is able to stay logged on
after the designated log off time. I have set the security in the
group policy to automatically log off the user at a specific time, but
this is not happening?

Does anyone have any ideas on whether the two things are related, and
how to solve these issues?

Thanks for your help in advance.

best regards

Paul
