Re: User name authenication issue

the problem just occured again... all i had to do was reboot to get him to
logon.

however when i tried to add him as a local admin on the machine (to rule
anything local out) i entered his username and it resolved to his full AD
name but still gave an error... i took a screen shot however cannont
directly post it... it's says

"Processing of object Lastname, Firstname D. failed with the following
error: Name translation: Generic processing error"

however when i tried to add him as a user, i typed first initial lastname...
so it resolved in AD to his full name, but would not allow him to be added
as a user... any ideas?
