    Check the permissions on both the share and the directory. Grant access to
    both SYSTEM and the group that the policy is applicable to (this requires
    list and read as a minimum).

    Are these clients at a remote site and the files on a local server (that is,
    is there a WAN link in between the clients and the server)?
