You will need to transfer/seize the 5 FSMO roles to the new server.

Make sure the global catalog is online

And make sure there is a DNS server that all AD clients and servers can use

> Well, little bit of update. We managed to find a spare dual athlon mobo to
replace the old servers, so it is now online. I want to make sure to do this
right. What all do i need to do to promote the new server (TPC) as FSMO and
general commander and chief of tonkin.com? I should transfer: Domain Naming
Master, RID, PDC, Infrastructure, Schema. Anything I'm missing? I'm familiar
with Domain naming, RID, PDC, and infrastructure, but how exactly do i go
about transfering Schema? And I'm certain there's one im missing.
