Your automated process could just analyze the database, and then you boot
users normally if anything shows up that needs a fix.

Is this possible to do in 2005.. is there a way to auto disconnect any
users at the time of running it? I think with the older SS you had to
manually disconnect the users or remove the share and recreate it?

I'd like to setup a batch file to do the analyze and output results to
a batch file once a month via windows scheduler..- Hide quoted text -

True.. but when it comes time to needing to boot users.. is there a
command line way to do so?

I've been going into the shares snapin and closing off any open
files..
