Some questions...
- I am a current MSDN Professional subscriber , do I get VSS 2005
Standalone? The last version I have is a beta from June 2005. I have VS
.NET 2005 DVD, is it buried in there somewhere? I would be really
ticked off if MSDN professional doesn't entitle you to VSS 2005.
- Is VSS 2005 compatible with VS .NET 2003?
- Does the HTTP access allow a remote user to check in/out via a web
interface ( i.e. for access from non-Windows clients). Or is just a
protocol that you use to access from within VS.
- Does HTTP access work with IIS on a Windows 2000 Server. In other
words, do you install VSS 2005 on a server running IIS and thus you can
server up the database via the web server.
